The IEC/EN61215 and IEC/EN61730 certified panels have 144 half-cells based on the M10 wafer and 10-bus design. The operating temperature coefficient is -0.341%/degree Celsius, and the power tolerance is as high as 5%.

Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp launched the NU-JD540 solar panel, which is a half-cut monocrystalline PERC product with a rated efficiency of 20.9% and a power output of 540 W.

The IEC/EN61215 and IEC/EN61730 certified panels have 144 half-cells based on the M10 wafer and 10-bus design. Its dimensions are 2,279×1,134×3.5mm, and its weight is 27.8kg.

The panel can be used for photovoltaic systems with a maximum voltage of 1,500 V and an operating temperature between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius. It has a 25-year linear power output guarantee and a 15-year product guarantee. The manufacturer claims that the operating temperature coefficient is -0.341%/degree Celsius, and the power tolerance is as high as 5%.

The module uses a white backplane and a 3.2mm thick anti-reflection, high light transmission, low iron tempered glass, anodized aluminum alloy and silver frame.

The Japanese manufacturer stated that its half-cut modules have three small junction boxes instead of one; all have bypass diodes. It claims that these enclosures transfer less heat to the upper battery, which helps extend the life of the panel while improving overall system performance.
