Loom Solar is an emerging solar technology company under the government. India launched a milestone in the India program, deploying rooftop solar solutions to more than 50,000 customers across India within four years of its operation.

Amol Anand, co-founder and director of Loom Solar, said in an interview with Photovoltaic Magazine: "Loom Solar is mainly operating in Punjab, Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Rooftop solar solutions are deployed in homes in the states of Labuan, Tamil Nadu, and Tamil Nadu. Kerala. Compared with northern India, southern India is more inclined to be off-grid."

The company has seen Shark double-sided solar panels gain popularity due to their efficiency and the latest technology across regions. Shark series double-sided panels use sixth-generation (no PID) monocrystalline PERC solar cells from Germany. The nine-busbar panels used in rooftop solar projects can provide power output from 440W to 530W, with a power conversion efficiency of 20-21%. The rear gain is as high as 20%, producing 530W output.

Loom Solar estimates that considering the lifetime of photovoltaic panels is 25 years, its overall rooftop solar installation may reduce its carbon footprint by 332,000 tons.

Amod Anand, co-founder and director of Loom Solar, cited the milestone of 50,000 residential solar roofs, saying: "We are humble and thank our 50,000 customers for choosing to use solar energy to give back to nature. This gives us the opportunity to develop more energy-efficient System to increase the total power capacity of solar panels per square meter. We will continue to introduce innovative and technologically advanced products for our customers."

In order to further promote the adoption of solar solutions, Loom Solar also launched EMI-based loan assistance for its customers.

Headquartered in Faridabad, Haryana, Loom Solar is one of the fastest-growing solar technology start-ups and continues to innovate in the residential solar field. Loom Solar was established in 2018 with a seed capital of 50,000 Indian rupees and has now become a 1 billion Indian rupees company. It has always maintained its leading position by launching monocrystalline solar panels, grid-connected AC modules, and Shark double-sided solar panels. Provides solar panels ranging from 10 watts to 530 watts, and has a manufacturing unit in Haryana. The company has operations in 500 regions and has more than 3,500 distributors. Its products can also be easily purchased on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and www.loomsolar.com
