Yacht company Fraser Yachts has launched a new 64-foot catamaran powered by environmentally friendly fuel alternatives. The new AQUON ONE is a smart solar catamaran, powered by fuel cells, providing true independence at sea.

AQUON ONE adopts a holistic approach-combining modern comfort, performance and innovative green technology to achieve sustainable cruising without noise and emissions. The "Pocket Super Yacht" designed by Christian Grande and built by Latitude Yachts was designed, built and completed to the highest standards.

The superyacht will install 64 square meters of solar panels on the roof of the fly bridge to enable it to use its own renewable energy. Then, renewable solar energy will be used to make green hydrogen fuel to power two electric motors and on-board facilities. The estimated top speed of AQUON ONE is 16 knots (30 km/h). It provides quiet cruising, no noise or smoke from the engine or generator, while providing energy for all other on-board equipment and days off the grid.

This hydrogen-powered catamaran can accommodate up to 8 guests and is arranged in 4 cabins, but it also offers a two-cabin or three-cabin layout. The main deck has a large living room and dining room, and the lower deck is dedicated to the cabin.

In addition, the environmentally friendly interior uses a series of sustainable materials, such as light bamboo and recycled leather. The LED lights can be controlled by mobile phones, and the cabin can be customized with different sizes of beds and suites.

The price of the AQUON ONE hydrogen-powered ship is 6 million euros and is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.
